Apostille in Samoa
Apostilles for Samoan public documents used in any Hague Convention country — and for foreign documents used in Samoa.
Samoa has been a party to the Hague Apostille Convention since 1999. A Samoan public document — such as a birth certificate, a court document or a notarised document — can therefore be used in the other member countries once it carries an apostille from the competent Samoan authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, without any further embassy legalization.
We prepare your document, arrange any certified copy or notarisation it needs, obtain the apostille and, where required, the certified translation — then return everything to you anywhere in the world. Documents issued in other countries for use in Samoa can be apostilled in their country of origin through our international network.
Every quote is free and individual — prices depend on the document, the language pair and your deadline.

Frequently asked questions
Does my document need an apostille or embassy legalization?
If the destination country is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, an apostille is usually enough. If it is not, consular or embassy legalization is needed instead. Tell us the destination country and we confirm the correct route before we start.
Can I get a Samoan apostille if I live overseas?
Yes. Many of our clients live in New Zealand, Australia or the United States. We handle the process in Samoa on your behalf and send you the finished documents by tracked courier.
How much does a certified translation cost?
Prices depend on the type and length of the document, the language pair, the format required by the receiving authority and your deadline. That's why we quote every request individually — send us your document and you'll receive a free quote, usually within one working day.
